About Edstart Edstart is renowned for delivering fantastic holiday clubs across multiple regions throughout the UK. Our experienced coaches are safeguarding trained, first-aid trained and highly qualified in sports coaching. During term time, our coaches work in schools delivering high-quality PE lessons and extra-curricular activities. We bring this same experience and approach to our holiday clubs, giving children the opportunity to develop their sporting skills, try new activities, build confidence and, most importantly, have fun. Our aim is for every child to leave our club having had a brilliant day and developed skills that they can take back with them when they return to school. What does the day look like? Early Club | 08:00 – 08:55 🏃 Sports & Games Our Early Club gives children the chance to get active from the moment they arrive, with a range of sports, games and activities. Drop-off is available at any time between 08:00 and 08:55, although we encourage an 08:00 arrival so your child can make the most of the full Early Club session. Core Club | 08:55 – 15:20 ⚽ Sports, Special Activities & Competitions The main part of the day includes two different sports or special activity coaching sessions, alongside opportunities to take part in tournaments, matches and challenges. Core Club drop-off is between 08:55 and 09:05, with pick-up between 15:20 and 15:30. Extended Club | 15:20 – 17:00 🏆 Sports & Matches Children staying for Extended Club will take part in a further sport coaching session, with opportunities for matches and games. Pick-up is available at any time between 15:30 and 17:00. Extended Club + | 17:00 – 18:00 🎨 Creative Activities Need a little extra time? Extended Club + is available until 18:00 and includes a range of creative activities. Extended Club + must be booked separately. What does my child need to bring? Lunch and any snacks your child may need throughout the day. A named water bottle – water bottles can be refilled during the day. Spare clothes, particularly for younger children or during activities where they may get muddy or wet. Suitable sports clothing and footwear – children should come dressed ready to take part in a range of sports and activities. Weather-appropriate clothing, such as sun cream, a sun hat, coat, gloves or other suitable items depending on the weather. Phones, electronics and personal belongings Please do not send children to the club with electronic devices, games consoles or other personal electronics. If your child needs to bring a mobile phone, it must remain safely in their bag throughout the day and should not be used during the club unless there is an appropriate reason to do so. Children are welcome to bring personal belongings where necessary, but Edstart cannot accept responsibility for any loss, damage or theft of personal items brought to the club. We therefore strongly recommend that children do not bring valuable or unnecessary items with them.
